EXPLOSION-PROOF ELECTRIC MOTORS OF THE AIMU SERIES
AIMU electric motors are asynchronous three-phase explosion-proof electric motors with a short-circuited rotor of 63-355 mm in size, with a power from 0.18 to 315 kW, with a rotor shaft rotation speed from 600 to 3000 rpm.
The explosion protection of the engines is ensured by enclosing the electrical parts in an explosion-proof shell, which can withstand the explosion pressure inside it and eliminates the transmission of the explosion to the explosive environment in the temperature range from -60 °C to +60 °C.
The explosion-proof electric motors of the AIMU series are intended for operation in explosive zones of premises and outdoor installations in which explosive mixtures of combustible gases or vapors with air belonging to categories IIA, IIB, and self-ignition groups T1, T2, T3 and T4 can be formed.
