CRANE ELECTRIC MOTORS OF THE 5MT SERIES

Three-phase asynchronous crane electric motors with phase and short-circuited rotor are designed to operate from the mains with a frequency of 50 and 60 Hz, voltage 220/380, 230/400, 240/415, 380/660, 380, 415, 500 V.

Electric motors of the 5MT series are a unified series of asynchronous low–voltage rotating electric machines of the crane-metallurgical direction. The nomenclature of electric motors of the 5MT series covers a power range from 1.4 to 160 kW.

To increase the reliability of the drive and increase the service life, the following technical solutions are used in production:

• closed execution;
• increased class of heat resistance of insulating materials;
• minimum inertia of the rotor;
• increased values of short-term moment loads.
